This walk is available daily in 2008.
7 am - 10 pm
Please walk during daylight hours only!


The trail starts at the trailhead parking lot at Center St and
M-52. Parking is free. The trail goes along Lakelands Trail State Park, which is a Rails-to-Trails project.  The pathway is covered in fine gravel and is wide and easy to walk
.
. It is rated 1, suitable for strollers.  Pets OK, but must remain outside buildings.




Come and see if you can catch a glimpse of the blond squirrel!


Restroom and parking are available at the start.  Water available at start, but we recommend you carry your own.

 This event is sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association (AVA), a member of the International Federation of Popular Sports (IVV).

This event counts toward the acquisition of IVV Achievement Awards.



All participants will receive a start card, map, and directions for the self-guided walk.  All start cards are the property of Great Lakes Amblers and must be mailed to the trailmaster when the walk is done.  For the checkpoints, you must answer questions in the directions.

Directions:

From I-94, take exit 159 North into Chelsea.  Follow M-52 North 15 miles into Stockbridge.  From I-96, take exit 122 and go south on M-52 into Stockbridge

The gas station is on the north side of Main St./M-52 and west of the stoplight at Main & Clinton.
