RECENT WALKS:

We had a wonderful day for our Sterling State Park event!  If you didn't come, you really missed out!

Then on Sunday, Eunice and I helped out the Michigan Pathfinders with their event in Adrian.

On Monday, Eunice and I did the Mackinac Bridge walk.

On the way home, we did a quick scope of Hartwick Pines State Park, thinking of a Labor Day Weekend event for next year.

COMING UP NEXT:

Sat, Sep 8, Tony (Forrest) and I are going to go measure out the walk for our event next May.  If you'd like to join us, let me know.

Fri, Sep 14 is the start of Mason Down Home Days and our town group walk.  Come on down and join us, especially if you didn't get down to last Saturday's group walk.  I'll be setting up at 5 pm and walkers will start coming by at 5:30.

Mark your calendar for Sat, Sep 22, when we'll group walk our Northville YRE.  We'll be making a stop at the cider mill!

In April, oops that's the first weekend in March, we'll have a van / bus trip to central Illinois for the Mid-America regional conference.

Memorial Day weekend we'll do our 2008 trip to the Mammoth Cave region in Kentucky.  Plans are being formed in cooperation with a local club down there.  We might be able to get AVA credit for the Mammoth Cave walk.

We'll be scheduling a test walk for a new route in Hamburg Township soon.

That's it for now.  I hope to see you soon in Crosswinds Marsh, or Mason, or Northville!
