Nancy, Eunice, Karen K, Joan and I braved the cold but clear day to do the 10K route in Howell.  We enjoyed the park, the cemeteries, the county courthouse and the downtown.  Darryl, Dot and Rudy joined us for the meeting afterward.

Nancy will get us the minutes when she gets a chance.  Until then, here's the basics . . . 

*  We set our schedule.   See the list on the right or go to the schedule page at the Michigan Volkssporting forum for a longer listing.

*  We decided to have our October event in Owosso.

*  We decided to have an event in Crosswinds Marsh in 2008.

*  We did not approve any plans for new YREs (proposals may still be presented at future group walks by prospective trailmasters).

*  We selected Chelane as our delegate to the National Convention and allotted $200 to subsidize her convention costs.

* We elected Chelane to the office of President and Nancy to the office of Secretary.

We hope you will head down to Dayton for the Mid-America Weekend, Mar 10 & 11.  If you would like to pre-register, Ginny gave me a flyer file in case you don't have one.

There's a  discussion forum that I set up on Google Groups called "Michigan Volkssporting".  I encourage you to go join that group!  There are folks there from all the Michigan clubs, including the new one forming in Middleville.  Use the link below, then click on "Join this group"
