I measured the 10 K route for the Maybury State Park event.  I think it will be a very pleasant walk!  Thin Blue Line of Michigan was having a race when I was there to measure (it wasn't raining, but was very humid).

Our Howell, Haslett and Stockbridge YREs have all been approved!

Our guided walk of the Grand Ledge YRE is scheduled for Friday evening at 6:30p.

Michigan City, IN is this Saturday.  Let me know if you'd like to carpool over there with us (I'm meeting Eunice in Marshall).

We got 11 votes on the August business meeting with a majority approving the switch in dates for the Maybury and DeWitt events.

Great Lakes Weekend

Get your passports ready!

Here's how our trip is shaping up.

We'll leave at 6 am on Friday, August 3rd from the Holiday Inn Express in Okemos, MI and then from the carpooling lot behind the Cracker Barrel for those who will drive to meet us.

Then we'll head through Port Huron over to St. Catherines, Ontario to do the Port Dalhousie YRE.  We'll spend the night at the Holiday Inn Downtown in Buffalo, NY.

On Saturday, we'll head to Niagara Falls and have the whole day there to walk and do whatever.  We'll head back to Buffalo for the night.

On Sunday morning, you'll have the morning time to walk the Downtown Buffalo YRE if you like.  We'll be heading out on the bus at noon to go back to Okemos, MI.

The cost for transportation and lodging is going to be $200 per person for double occupancy.  Single occupancy will be $325.  I'll put up a registration sheet after the conclusion to our business meeting from August.
